Marnus Labuschagne Dropped from Australia's One-Day International Squad Versus India

Recent Form Lead to Exclusion
The right-hander was left out from the one-day international side following being dismissed for one in each of his two innings during the top-end series against South Africa in August. Labuschagne has a top score of 47 in his last 10 ODI innings.
The batsman has featured in 68 ODIs and scored 1,871 ODI runs at an batting average of 34.64, but will now focus on earning a Test recall ahead of the Ashes starting in Perth on November 21.
Renshaw's Return and Other Squad Changes
Labuschagne has shown signs of a resurgence with a score of 160 for Queensland in the domestic first-class competition this week, while Renshaw made a century for the Bulls in the same game against Tasmania.
Renshaw is in line to make his first white-ball appearance in the forthcoming series against India after his last inclusion in an ODI squad in 2022.
Renshaw has played 14 Test matches with the most recent appearance in India in 2023 but is also hoping for a Test return as Australia seek a solution to their top-order woes.

Big Bash star Mitch Owen might get his ODI debut after being concussed in the lead up to Australia’s most recent 50-over series against South Africa.
Skipper Pat Cummins continues to be absent as he hopes to heal from a back injury in time to lead Australia in the opening Test of the Ashes in November.
