Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one victories have been won on hard surfaces
A revitalized the Russian player claimed his first championship for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the competition final.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has experienced a torrid period, winning just one win at the big events and experiencing a setback at the New York tournament.
His varied form on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serving in specific - resulted in him dropping out of the top ten and finally separating with long-time coach his previous coach.
Now working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently advanced in the last few weeks - culminating in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This marks the player's initial title following the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court from March of 2023.
Victory also signifies Medvedev has achieved twenty-one titles at 21 various events.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a event with my two daughters simultaneously, so to get a trophy is really nice," stated world number 14 Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my second daughter my daughter, because the first title I got when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the former major winner, had failed in his previous six title deciders, featuring in that event earlier this year.
Medvedev's retrieving play style and frequent outbursts on court had caused observers to wonder if his skill to play at the highest level was concluded.
Yet the player has made changes in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and perform aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced serve.
He fought back from a break down in the first set against the challenging opponent, taking four of the concluding five exchanges to take the lead.
Both players traded break points in the following set before Moutet, bidding for his initial ATP Tour victory, gained dominance to push for a decider.
He defended four early opportunities in a tight final set before the champion secured a break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Fittingly, he clinched the win with a shot at the front of the court, with Moutet unable to control a shot after a lengthy match.
